I just realized I never made a post about my last race a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time to Kart Idaho and it was a learning experience. I already knew the competition was going to be tough here and trying to learn a new track at the same time, it was going to be a long day. We had 16 JR2 drivers where I qualified 11th. In the heat race I started 5th and had a good start and was 3rd at the end of the first lap but I fell back to 5th when the race was over. I ended up 4th since one of the drivers ahead of me got a penalty. In the main event I started 8th and I accidentally got into the bumper of Judah and spun him out in the first turn and lost some spots at the same time. I was 12th at the end of the first lap. I was able to pass a couple of drivers but while doing that I got a little damage to my front end while battling which caused my kart to not steer too well and eventually lost a position and ended up 11th. I expected to do a little better than that but for my first time there I guess I will take it. I would like to thank my sponsors:

Also thank you to Travis for giving me words of encouragement and thank you to Kart Idaho for putting on the event. My next race will be at Kart Idaho on 5/31 & 6/1. I’m hoping to do a little better this time.
