A Job Interview, a $2,000 Check, and a Missing Woman—The Mystery of Kelly Allen

The disappearance of 20-year-old Kelly Allen remains an unsettling mystery, leaving her family desperate for answers. A nursing student with dreams of building a career in healthcare, Kelly was last seen in March 2007, but what happened after that remains unknown.

Kelly had been staying at a friend’s apartment on Frost Avenue in Berkeley, Missouri, for a few days. On the morning of March 13, 2007, her friend left for work while Kelly, who had been working at a nursing home, spent the day job-hunting. That afternoon, she attended a job interview and spoke to her friend on the phone, and everything seemed completely normal. The two even made plans to meet up later that day.

However, when her friend returned home, Kelly was nowhere to be found. Her belongings, including her phone and a $2,000 tax refund check, were still in the apartment, and there were no signs of a struggle or indication that she had packed to leave. She had simply vanished.

In 2017, her cousin Cody thought he spotted her on a train and quickly took a photo of the woman he believed to be Kelly. However, authorities have never been able to confirm whether it was actually her.

At the time of her disappearance, Kelly Allen was 5'4" and weighed 165 pounds.

, : On June 2, 2023, the remains of an unidentified Black female were found. She wore long box braids (possibly highlighted) and had multiple body piercings, including a tongue piercing, dermal piercings on her lower back, possible eyebrow piercings, and several others. She also has an unrecognizable tattoo on her back and wore only a size small “spaghetti strap” camisole.

Domestic Dispute on Train Platform Turns Deadly

Kamari McMillen and her family have a weekly tradition of sharing dinner together. This week, however, they had no idea that one beloved family member would never return.

According to the Chicago Police Department, on March 18, 2025, 30-year-old Kamari McMillen enjoyed dinner with her family before heading home. Around 9:45 PM, while she was on the CTA Red Line platform at 15 West 69th Street in Chicago, Illinois, Kamari got into an altercation with her alleged girlfriend.

During the dispute, the other woman pulled out a gun and shot Kamari in the neck. She was quickly taken to the Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Authorities have taken the woman into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

Only Daughter: The Holiday That Turned Into a Nightmare

The Fourth of July holiday turned into a nightmare for a family in Ft. Lauderdale. A tragic act irrevocably shattered the special bond between a mother and daughter. The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) is seeking information about a homicide that occurred on July 4, 2023, which has yet to be solved.

19-year-old Destiny Bucknor was a passenger in a convertible slingshot when an unidentified individual opened fire as they traveled westbound on Northwest Eight Street in Ft. Lauderdale. Destiny was shot in the 2900 block of the street.

The driver rushed her to a local hospital, but tragically, she was pronounced deceased.

Destiny was the oldest and only daughter of her mother’s four children. She had bravely fought and overcome lupus, only to have her dreams cut short by a stranger’s bullet.

MISSING & ENDANGERED - Kevin Collins Jr. is MISSING - please share to help bring him home!

The New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Kevin Collins Jr., 21, of Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Kevin was last seen on February 27, 2025, around 4:00 p.m. leaving Inspira Medical Center on State Highway 45 in Mannington Township, Salem County. He is described as 5’5”, 115 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. Kevin was last seen wearing a hospital gown, which was later found near the hospital. At approximately 4:57 p.m., surveillance footage captured Kevin walking unclothed in a wooded area near Griscom Drive in Mannington Township.

Valerie Elder Smiley has been missing since around 2:00 p.m. on June 28th, 2024, when she left her home in Chattanooga, TN.

She left her home driving her red 2004 Ford Expedition TN tag number 079-BFQD. (The SUV had a TSU Mom sticker on the back when it was last seen.)

Shortly after her disappearance, LIFE360 showed her location as Decatur, TN.

On June 29th, 2024, her phone pinged in Fayetteville, Georgia, and again on June 30th, 2024, in Union City, Georgia. (These are the last known pings from her phone.)

Her bank cards have not been used.

At the time she was last seen, Valerie was described as a 41-year-old African American female, 5' 5" tall, 210 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She has "Valerie" tattooed in cursive on her calf.

She was last seen wearing a yellow or beige polo and a pair of shorts.

It is stated in some reports that Valerie may have suffered from a medical issue causing her to have memory loss. She was also being treated for an ear infection and vertigo.

Valerie Elder Smiley is a mother of four who was established within her community. She was also a wife and an entrepreneur. There is no indication that she was planning on leaving, and no reason was found that would explain her leaving.

Valerie's case has not received the attention that it deserves. She needs to be found.
