On a recent trip to Nashville. Neil Cacci stopped in at a local Gibson Guitar store and was asked to perform a couple of numbers.

This particular Gibson acoustic had a price tag of 6500.00.
The manager tried to sell him the guitar and Neil said: "at this price, I would have to mortgage my home". (LOL).

A personal note from Neil Cacci to his fans and music family .....

My sincere condolences go out to the Borchetta family. I was speaking to a family member just a couple of weeks ago about his health.
Mike helped so many people and artists and was a stellar promotions man. I don't think anyone today can hold a match to his skills.
I met Mike at Curb Records when our team was doing recording sessions, and he introduced me to his son Scott who later founded Big Machine Records and other entities under the name Big Machine.
He is legendary in the annals of our music industry. God speed, Mike.

"Rhonda Lee" I wrote, is a great road and trucker song.
It landed in Bienstock and Gladys Music's catalogue simultaneously about a year after we recorded it when Capitol Nashville took the album "Rock-A-Billy Friends" for distribution.

Recorded at the legendary American Sound Studios in Nashville, who has its roots in Memphis when Chips Moman owned the studio, and where Elvis recorded his double album back in 1969.
