🏀🏐⚽ The future of sports tourism in Pella is taking shape!
We recently had the opportunity to tour the progress of Pella's new Recreation Center, and we couldn't be more excited about what this facility will mean for our community and for visitors from across the region.
From youth tournaments and weekend competitions to families exploring Pella between games, sports tourism brings more than athletes—it brings overnight stays, restaurant visits, shopping, and new opportunities for local businesses. Every tournament is another chance to introduce visitors to our Dutch heritage, charming downtown, and warm hospitality.
This video was made possible through a Travel Iowa grant, and we're grateful for their investment in helping us share Pella's story.
We can't wait to return in the coming months to see the continued progress and share more updates with you. The countdown is on!
What sporting event would you love to see hosted in Pella once the Recreation Center opens?
