PLANNED OUTAGE: Webb Media Group television stations including Highland Weather TV and Highland Travel Network will go temporarily off the air this evening from 6-8 PM to change WI-FI router companies to enhance streaming. Normal services will return once WI-Fi is restored.

2:30 PM- Temperatures remain hot throughout much of the broadcast area in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Some scattered t-storms have formed west of Asheville producing winds of 40 MPH and small hail. Lows will reach the mid to lower 70s, before warming into the mid 90s tomorrow.

10:02 AM-Scattered strong thunderstorms are possible Tuesday. Main threats will be winds of 55-65 MPH. Highs will reach the upper 80s, before dropping into the lower 70s tonight. Chantal has made landfall early this morning near Myrtle Beach. NO impacts are expected here at home.

9:07 AM- TD 3 is expected to make landfall at the coast towards Charleston as a tropical storm, before traveling up the coast towards VA. No impacts expected here at home at this time. Highs will reach the 90s today, before dropping into the 70s tonight. T-storms return MON.

We are aware that half of the Highland Weather Dashboard system remain offline, including the current weather conditions, and have contacted the station owner. At this time we don’t know when Dashboard will return to normal, if not at all. However, 3 services remain online.

5:18 PM TROPICS ALERT- TD Three has formed off of the Carolina coast. The storm may make landfall as a tropical storm towards Charleston before pushing inland Sunday afternoon. The main threats will be towards Charlotte and Rock Hill. Check for updates for more info.
