The final week of the high school football regular season kicked off a night early for several teams across our area.

Highlights from all five Upstate games are here, including a region championship for Westside and Greenwood rolling to their ninth win of the regular season.

The Westside Rams beat Wren to capture a region title, while Greenwood finishes the regular season 9-1

Highlight of the night in High School football! Check out Liberty's Caleb Pilgrim, getting dragged down for the sack, but somehow stays on his feet long enough to find Zane Smith for the only touchdown of the game in their 7-0 win over Blacksburg.

Clemson Baseball’s 2026 schedule is here!

The Tigers open with eight straight home games before the Palmetto Series against South Carolina starting in Columbia on Friday, 2/27.

Clemson’s ACC home weekends include series with Georgia Tech, Miami, UNC, Boston College and Florida State.

Could the Palmetto Bowl really be played on Black Friday? The current TV contract for the game, obtained by The State's Chapel Fowler, allows the 2027 rivalry game in Columbia to be played either on Friday, Nov. 26, or Saturday, Nov. 27.

Shane Beamer was asked about his thoughts on the potential move today.

"It ain't ever too late to become the best version of you."

Enjoyed this sermon from Dabo Swinney today, reflecting on his first season at Clemson as receivers coach in 2003.

The Tigers started 5-4 and were coming off a 45-17 loss at Wake Forest that Swinney was sure was going to result in their collective firings. Instead, the Tigers upset No. 3 FSU the following weekend in the Bowden Bowl, 26-10, and reeled off four straight wins to end the season. Good lesson in there for his current team.

Dream come true for Justin Dean

Making his first appearance in the World Series as a defensive sub, the Upstate native and Mauldin Maverick came up with a 9th inning sliding grab in center to help preserve Yoshinobu Yamamoto's CG in the Dodgers' 5-1, Game 2 win.

Game 3 of the World Series is back in Los Angeles on Monday night
