The Southside Christian Sabres become just the fourth team in state history to win five straight titles, beating Oceanside Collegiate 8-7 for the 3A championship on Thursday night.

Potential 1st round pick Carson Bolemon hits a 2-R HR, and CJ Aubuchon knocks in the game-winning runs in the 6th to seal the victory for the Sabres.

Clemson defensive lineman Hevin Brown-Shuler and former South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia have connected since their recent cancer diagnoses to encourage each other.

Dabo Swinney announced that former Clemson AD Terry Don Phillips died this morning.

Phillips, who Swinney called one of the 'greatest mentors' of his life, served as Clemson's Athletic Director from 2002 to 2012, and named Swinney interim HC in 2008 before giving him the full-time job months later.

"Sometimes, other people see things in you before you see it in yourself. He was one of those people for me."
