Been shooting a lot more stills lately with the trusty old EOS R. Today, after working at a friends house, she was taking her mom and a friend out for a boat ride and invited me to come. It was such a pleasant evening to be out on the water!

The cloud formations and the sun were creating these unique patterns, it was such a rich texture that of course I had to do one in black and white. I threw on an ND filter to tame down shooting directly into the sun and added a little grain in post to give it a better B&W feel.

I also somehow managed to pull a moon shot out of my butt on a pitching and moving boat...

When having 3 4K monitors is just not enough…

Sometimes I really do question my sanity. All setup for a rather technically complex live streaming event. There will be a live speaker on stage in front of an audience as well as a remote audience streaming in via Zoom. All parties need to be able to see and interact with one another.

I will be running the entire setup solo... Front of house sound, cameras, live stream sound mix, and overhead projection.

I've got one more macro to build so I can switch the overhead between the presenter's slides and the remote audience via the secondary Atem video switcher controlled by the Stream Deck. I'm pretty confident I've built in enough automation to be able to manage everything solo!! Should make for a fun Saturday!
