When I was 6 in 1998 my grandparents traded me my original blanket so they could "plant a blanket tree and grow more of them" for a Flintstones sleeping bag so obviously I took
them up on the deal! As you can tell (right) it has been well loved over the next 20+ years and hasn't zipped since I was probably 11.
Fast forward to the end of February and I was looking for a 90's item as a gift on ebay and decided to check out what else the seller had listed. Before i knew it was looking at the same one never used- I never realized how much my original had shrunk/faded/flattened out until I got to compare them in person!
My original is now safely tucked away and I've been sleeping soundly with the new one ever since! I'm 5'5" and fit in it perfectly although I keep it unzipped making it about the width of a full size bed 😊
