Spectrum Dance Theater’s 2026/27 Season is here!

Inquiry, Memory, Joy, and Reflection brings together four works that move between experimentation and tradition, personal memory and shared history, celebration and remembrance. The season also marks Donald Byrd’s 25th anniversary as Artistic Director of Spectrum Dance Theater—a meaningful milestone in a year shaped by curiosity, reflection, and artistic inquiry.

The season opens this Fall with OCCURRENCE #15, followed by Localities/An Odyssey Pt. 3. In Spring 2027, Spectrum reunites with Music of Remembrance for Resilience at Benaroya Hall before concluding with the world premiere of Plague.
