In July 1980, Mel Carnal—better known as Mr. Radio—turned his dream into reality when he signed WKWX 93.5 FM on the air.

📻 For 45 years, we’ve brought music, news, weather, and sports to our community. And through it all, YOU—our listeners, local businesses, and on-air family—have made this journey possible.

From the bottom of our hearts, the Carnal family along with Ms Jane Haggard, and the entire K93 crew say THANK YOU. Your support has been the heartbeat of this station since day one.
