This picture was taken just 3 weeks ago in New Zealand. It’s hard to imagine that such hatred was unleashed in this beautiful place with such warm people. Our thoughts are with those families and wounded in Christchurch.

Drop Media and friends went down to the desert to make a video. We ended up having a full-on experience. Beautiful landscapes, car crash rescues, amazing routes and the chance to introduce the new AXS drivetrain from SRAM. This was a rare opportunity to to tell a story about John Watson 's fascination with the Mohave Desert. And in turn, I fell in love with it to, looking across the valley at sunrise and seeing the Sierra Nevada glowing in the morning light. SRAMs new drive is a massive step in delivering simplicity with technology for bikes. Wireless, seamless, self-adjusting, trackable, rechargeable, mixable components that will push our sport and ourselves to even more remote and astounding places. Thanks for giving me the chance to be a part of such a great project!
