Slow Fade Media Your Message, in Motion.

The temps are getting colder and so are the leads… or are they? December can be the biggest month for local service businesses if you are doing the right things to get known.
Everybody is going in a thousand different directions this time of the year. Family, travel, parties, shopping and every holiday sale ad imaginable flooding their inbox and feed.
Your customers are already spending money, they are in the buying mindset, but they don’t remember you are there.
Make sure you are standing out to your customers this time of year. Up the ads, double down on organic social, even doing some simple phone calls to past clients just saying happy holidays and making sure they are prepared for the holidays, and the new year.
For example…
Hey Jessica, this is Bill over at XYZ auto. Just wanted to call and say happy holidays, and give little reminder that 60% of preventable auto repairs happen while traveling out of town. If you’re going to be traveling, make sure to come in for an oil change and quick inspection to make sure you get there safely.”
Hate talking in the phone… no problem. 95% won’t answer anyway. Just have a little clarity written out so you can leave them a voicemail.

What extra steps are you taking to be seen this time of year? I’d love to know in the comments, or shoot me a DM.

And Happy Holidays from Slow Fade Media!

How to start… 🚦Step 1. Write out a detailed description of where you want your business to go. Use “I am” statements as if you are telling someone else where your business is at once you hit those goals.
Next, evaluate where you want to go compared to where you are now. Are there things you need to stop doing to get there?
Step 3. What do you need to add to get there? Is it equipment, knowledge, experience. Break it down into quarters. Then months, even as far as weeks if you can, to build out your road map to get you there.

I would love to hear some of your goals for 2026. Drop them in the comments!

The number 1 myth in local service business is that being great at what you do gets you more leads. BUSTED! Being great has nothing to do with it. It’s all about your visibility. And Visibility doesn’t often happen by chance. You have to take the steps to get out there, in front of your ideal customers. Not once, not twice, not 3 times… To build trust it takes 7 hours of seeing or hearing you, over 11 interactions, in 4 different places.
The businesses that THRIVE are the ones that are CONSTANTLY in front of their ideal clients.
The good news is…

That’s exactly what I do!

I can help you build social media content that will build trust, set you up as the expert, and get it in front of the right people, driving them straight to your warm lead list.

Ready to get started? Drop a “LETS GO!” in the comments, give me a follow and I’ll reach out to schedule a call with you to see how I can help.

No one… and I mean NO ONE is perfect on camera. That’s why it is critical to find a great editor that can cut videos seamlessly, knowing when we have to shoot another take, and what can produce a clean video with what we have, so we don’t waste YOUR time on set.

Soapbox warning. lol.
Business owners, do you regularly meet up with people at coffee shops? Please please please, don’t just walk in and sit down. Go up to the counter and order something. ANYTHING.
I don’t do caffeine, and I limit sugar, but I will always go up and buy a decaf late.
If you are late, it doesn’t matter, if you’re taking up space in a business, support them! Walk up and have a quick intro with the person you are meeting and say “Hey let me jump over here and order a drink real quick, and then we can chat.”
Take the 2 minutes, spend the $5.
If money is truly too tight to buy a cup of coffee, do a zoom meeting, or meet in a library. There are plenty of options. But if you are meeting at a business, support the business.

Heres a video I put together for the YMCAs Summer Day Camp. It't a really cool program and it was so much fun to get to see the kids having a great time there!
