Soapbox warning. lol.
Business owners, do you regularly meet up with people at coffee shops? Please please please, don’t just walk in and sit down. Go up to the counter and order something. ANYTHING.
I don’t do caffeine, and I limit sugar, but I will always go up and buy a decaf late.
If you are late, it doesn’t matter, if you’re taking up space in a business, support them! Walk up and have a quick intro with the person you are meeting and say “Hey let me jump over here and order a drink real quick, and then we can chat.”
Take the 2 minutes, spend the $5.
If money is truly too tight to buy a cup of coffee, do a zoom meeting, or meet in a library. There are plenty of options. But if you are meeting at a business, support the business.

Heres a video I put together for the YMCAs Summer Day Camp. It't a really cool program and it was so much fun to get to see the kids having a great time there!

I love the projects I have been able to do with the YMCA in 2024. I have got to meet some great people and hear really cool stories. The hardest part is cutting down hours of interviews to just a 30 second promo. This was a lot of fun to work on though!
