Congratulations to Kimble County Museum and all involved!

Today we recognized the Kimble County Historical Commission and their recognition by the Texas Historical Commission for their excellence and achievement. Thanks to the commission for all they do in helping operate our outstanding Kimble County Historical Museum and promoting the history of Kimble County!

Information from JISD on parking for home football games.

HERE IS THE INFORMATION FOR PARKING AT HOME FOOTBALL GAMES ON FRIDAY NIGHTS:

EMERGENCY VEHICLE GATE: THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED TO PARK INSIDE THE GATE ON THE VISITOR SIDE OF 20TH STREET ARE EMERGENCY VEHICLES.

CONCESSION STAND GATE: THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED TO PARK INSIDE THE GATE BY THE CONCESSION STAND ARE THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE CONCESSION STAND (BY PERMIT ONLY) AND PEOPLE WITH A HANDICAP STICKER/LP. THE SPOTS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE - NO HOLDING SPOTS.

PARKING LOT ON COLLEGE BY THE BIG GYM: THIS LOT IS NOW A PERMIT ONLY LOT. HANDICAP PERMITS AND BOOSTER CLUB/GAME WORKER PERMITS ARE THE ONLY ONES ALLOWED IN THIS LOT.

EVERYONE ELSE MAY PARK IN FRONT OF THE GYM OR IN THE LOT THAT IS ACROSS FROM THE ROCK GYM.

POLICE WILL GIVE TICKETS TO ANYONE PARKED ON 20TH AT THE SCOREBOARD END OF THE FIELD.

Evacuation drill for JISD next Tuesday.

Next Tuesday, September 2nd at 9:00am Junction ISD will be conducting an Evacuation Drill. The purpose of this drill is to practice what we do during a threat to the campus. This will be a drill where all students will be transported to the fairgrounds on buses and then return to school. Please be advised that it is a drill and there is no need to panic.
