South Llano Rivet State Park Update

‼️South Llano River State Park - Alert ‼️
July 16, 2025

We received a slow rise in the South Llano River throughout the late evening of July 15th, into the early morning hours of July 16th. In preparation for this rise, we closed all river access from the park, including the Day Use area.

As of this morning, the river is still higher than normal, moving swiftly, and murky with scattered debris. River access will remain ‼️CLOSED‼️until further notice, but Day Use is now OPEN.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain our guests’ safety. Please follow our social media accounts for further updates!
