Great job, Kimble County Sheriff's Office!

*Theft of Catalytic Converter W/ Firearm Arrrest*

On December 14, 2025, at about 5:00 PM, Deputy Chapman was conducting traffic enforcement on I-H 10 near MM 470. During the course of a traffic stop, Deputy Chapman located approximately twenty (20) stolen Catalytic Converters that were concealed inside of the vehicle. Additionally, both suspects were identified as making illegal entry into the United States. Both suspects were Honduran Nationals. U.S. Border Patrol was contacted and confirmed their illegal entry into the United States. During the search of the vehicle, a 9 mm handgun was located as well.
Both suspects are currently being held in the Kimble County Jail.

*Drug Arrest*

In the early morning hours of December 11, 2025, Deputy Chaney was conducting traffic enforcement on IH-10. Deputy Chaney conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation observed. During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Chaney deployed his K-9 partner "Echo" on the suspect vehicle. K-9 Echo provided a positive alert for the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 27.126 grams of Methamphetamine and 3.772 grams of He**in. Additionally, the He**in located showed traces of Fentanyl. All narcotics located will be sent for official analysis.

A local family needs help!

A family in our community suffered a devastating fire that destroyed their home and all of their belongings. If you have donations for them they may be dropped off at any campus office.

Also, an account has been set up for the Family at Junction National bank under A Relief Fund for those that would like to make a monetary donation.

Traffic Stop on I-10 Leads to Arrest

December 1, 2025 at 2:29:05 PM CST
On Dec 1, 2025, Deputy Morrow and K9 Ally stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on I-10. During the stop, Probable Cause to search the vehicle was obtained. During the search, Ma*****na, numerous gift cards, bank-type cards, credit card-type cards, and a rewriting machine were located. The subject was placed under arrest, and the investigation into the financial crimes against the general public is ongoing.
This is a reminder to remain vigilant when making purchases. If you notice abnormal charges on your accounts or suspicious activity when monitoring your credit reports, Contact Law Enforcement immediately.
No evidence has proven that this particular case has affected anyone in Kimble County. It is just a reminder to remain vigilant. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
