COFFEETALK JAZZ MAGAZINE TAKES ITS FINAL BOW AFTER 12 YEARS OF CELEBRATING JAZZ ICONS
A Love Letter to the Music, the Magic, and the Legends Who Made It Unforgettable
Los Angeles, CA – After an extraordinary 12-year run filled with unforgettable interviews, iconic cover stories, and passionate storytelling, CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine has officially released its final issue in July 2025. What began as a labor of love has evolved into a global platform that has chronicled the artistry of jazz’s most celebrated icons, legends, and luminaries.
From the stages of Inglewood to the streets of New York, from festival grounds to international concert halls, CoffeeTalk has traveled far and wide to capture the voices and visions of the artists who shaped the very sound of modern jazz. Over the years, the magazine has spotlighted giants like Paul Jackson Jr., Patrick Lamb, Warren Hill, Walter Beasley, Stanley Jordan, Sheila E., and Dave Koz, while honoring the legacies of the greats we’ve lost—Bobby Caldwell, George Duke, Chuck Loeb, Nick Colionne—whose music will forever echo in our hearts.
“This journey has been more than journalism—it’s been a ministry of melody,” said founder and publisher Bridgette Lewis. “We’ve grown, we’ve stretched, and we’ve had the privilege of telling the stories behind the songs, the struggles, and the triumphs of some of the world’s most gifted musicians.”
But as all great chapters do, this one has come to a close. Bridgette is now shifting her focus to her next divine assignment—working as a celebrity publicist, media strategist, and booking agent, as well as expanding into sync and licensing partnerships for television, film, streaming, and motion picture projects.
While the magazine’s pages may close, CoffeeTalk Media continues—offering artists strategic publicity, brand building, media coverage, and opportunities to get on the right stages.
“To every pianist, percussionist, horn player, soul singer, and storyteller who trusted me with your truth—thank you,” Lewis adds. “Your passion made this movement. And while CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine rides into the sunset, the music and the mission live on.”
For artists ready to elevate their artistry and amplify their spotlight, Bridgette Lewis is now accepting new clients for publicity and strategic brand development.
