The day our journey as husband & wife began.
A day that started and ended with our roots; from Pops marrying us, the boys being our ring bearers, and the dirt beneath our feet that grew us into the people we are today.

One year ago to the moment I was settling in to my bed for the first time at the Skyview Hotel on the American Airlines campus about to take off on the journey of a lifetime. No amount of research prepares you for what you are about to go through. I made some of the best friends on this journey. It tested us; not just on what we learned, but on our mental fortitude and somehow I earned my wings. I’m so grateful for my 23-11 Emerald class who proved Ain’t No Betta! I cannot wait to see where the friendly skies will take me next!
