As a dad today is a pretty memorable moment for me. For my first Father’s Day gift that Addie made mostly on her own (with a little bit of writing help). A pink tie with some question prompts and words she used to describe me. After reading them I realized It’s moments like these that you recognize how important all the little things are.

So little that they don’t always feel big and impactful but when put together they have tremendous power. The power to shape my identity as a father.

I can’t help but be reminded of the need to revel in these times. Tears of joy and happiness for now but off to wipe them clean so I can go play games with my baby girl as we cuddle on the couch. 👨‍👧🎮❤️
