A new documentary spotlighting a pivotal campaign to secure funding for lobular breast cancer research is set to premiere at this year’s 33rd Raindance Film Festival in London.

Titled ‘Our Journey with Lobular Breast Cancer’, the important feature-length film tells the story of the Lobular Moon Shot Project, launched in 2023 by Dr. Susan Michaelis. The campaign has gained support from 365 Members of Parliament, forming a majority in the House of Commons, who are seeking to back a five-year, £20 million research programme into invasive lobular breast cancer, the second most common type of breast cancer in the UK.

‘This is Your Captain Speaking’, produced by Fact Not Fiction Films, will screen at the 33rd edition of the Raindance Film Festival. The film explores the long-standing issue of contaminated cabin air and its implications for both flight safety and public health.

Screenings are scheduled at Vue Piccadilly in central London, with the world premiere taking place on Monday 23 June at 4.30pm and a follow-up showing on Tuesday 24 June at 11.45pm.
