Hello Hendo friends. Tomorrow night at BRCC Bo Thomas auditorium, we are doing a 'sneak peek' screening of my new feature length film about photographer George Masa. This is in collaboration with Conserving Carolina. We've been fortunate to work with them in support of our film along with Community Foundation of Henderson County, and the Rudnick Foundation. You can make an advanced donation and secure a ticket or just show up! Room for all. (film runs 2 hours). I'd love to see you there to share this fascinating story. (link in comments)

Join SAHC and Bonesteel Films for an exclusive sneak peek screening of A Life Reimagined: The George Masa Story, a new documentary from Emmy Award-winning director Paul Bonesteel. This inspiring film explores the life and legacy of George Masa (1885-1933), a Japanese-born photographer whose passion for the Southern Appalachian landscape helped encourage the creation of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Appalachian Trail. Don’t miss this special opportunity to experience the film before its official release and celebrate a story that continues to resonate with conservation efforts today.

Tomorrow night at Sierra Nevada in Mills River we are doing a 'Sneak Peek' screening of "A Life Reimagined: The George Masa Story" in cahoots with Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. This is a way to share the film with their members and guest and community and we'd love to see you there if there are seats left! One of the exciting things you'll see there is a painting by Moni Hill, the genius Asheville artist who is the most recent person to have become inspired and obsessed with Mr. Masa! She has donated this distinctive painting, inspired by a Masa photo of Looking Glass Falls, to be auctioned. Please check out the details.

So last night we had a wonderful 'sneak peek' screening of A Life Reimagined: The George Masa Story in collaboration with the Carolina Mountain Club. The QR code on some donation flyers we handed out was not working. If you attended and would like to donate to the film and its distribution here and in Japan, here is the link to do that! Thank you.
