A first-time event with no production plan to draw from? Cake. 🎂

For the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix, CMSI joined FOX Sports and IMSP prepared for just about anything. Including maybe a little more equipment than we actually needed. 🥲

What we did need was an end-to-end HDR workflow supporting editors across Washington, Los Angeles, and Charlotte. We came prepared for a difficult show. We got a smooth one. We’ll take it. 🏎️

Another in the books! 🥪 🧀 ⚾️ Unrelated: we've decided as a team to not check our cholesterol levels for the next two weeks.

Cheesesteak Day is our favorite day of the year, and it takes place at our favorite event of the year. If you were at the Little League World Series last week and you ate some of this perfect lunch with us, thanks for letting us share the day with you. 🙏

It's over 😭 It's all over 😩

In August CMSI returned to support ESPN at both the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, NC and the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. These two events combine to make our most favorite production of the year, and now it's all over! 😭 💦 💦

But... I guess there's no crying in baseball 😏 🧢 ⚾️

has become part of CMSI's lore, and it's one of the best parts of our coverage of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA every year. Massive thanks to Chef Juan and his team for feeding us our favorite meal again!

CMSI was in Las Vegas at the ESPN NBA Summer League last week, and we cheered our lil' hearts out for all those rookies while managing the file-based workflows for the entire operation. Watching the beginning of a professional athlete's career up close is one of our favorite parts of the job. Besides the t-shirt cannons. 👕

Scott Meglemre has been part of CMSI for so long, we wouldn't be the same company without his incredible brain. 🧠 When we can't remember how a particular event went last year, or what sort of process is required, or what kind of dry rub is best on that brisket, Scott knows. 🐄

We understand how people generally feel about advertisements, but the thought process of "which TV show should we choose to show off our new model of pickup truck during the commercial breaks" is pretty interesting no matter how you slice it. 🛻

FOX's annual Upfronts presentations is exactly where those types of decisions are made. This year CMSI was happy to provide editing infrastructure and on-site engineering expertise for one of the industry's most unique events.
