🚨Special Visitor Alert! 🚓🐾

We had a pawsome visit today from Lieutenant Kevin Mazur, who stopped by the Humane Society to meet our two new Animal Control Officers, Sheldon and Kay! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️🐶

While here, he also got to meet the lovely Malibu, a stunning Doberman Pinscher with a heart of gold. 🖤 She’s not quite ready to go home yet; she’ll be available for adoption soon after her spay surgery. But trust us, she’s worth the wait!

👂👀 Be sure to keep your ears and eyes open, because you’ll be seeing and hearing more from Kay and Sheldon on HITS 102.7 this Thursday for Fursday Thursday! 🎙️🐾

After being diagnosed with brain cancer three years ago, Patty Young wanted to start checking things off her bucket list, and skydiving was one of them. She traveled to South Dakota all the way from Kentucky to do just that, and she is living her best life!

It's Thursday!!! Today, Ashley with the Humane Society of the Black Hills brought in Nyx! She's just over 2 years old, about 50 pounds, and has a lot of loving life to live! She's soft, sweet and loves PupCups from our friends at DQ. Call the Humane Society to make an appointment with your critters and kids, and consider this sweet lady to bring to her fur-ever home!

PLUS - this Saturday, Ashley and the Humane Society of the Black Hills will be at Pride in the Park! Go get some puppy love and help support the critters! We'll see you there! Maybe Nyx will be there too, with Puppy Hugs up for grabs!
