When I was young my maternal grandmother, the OG Queen Bee, was the one who taught us all the things. She shared her wisdom, gave her opinion, and nurtured us by just showing up.

One of the things that she taught me was to always take a different route. It didn't matter if I was just going up the street or taking a day long road trip she wanted me (and everyone else) to venture off of our usual route and explore an alternate path.

Today, I still do this. And it got me thinking about our routines. I'm not here to tell you that routines are bad. Matter of fact, I think they are great! They help with structure and productivity and ultimately help us know what's ahead. But what if our routines are taking the joy and experience out of life?

Today's prompt is about breaking your own rules! GASP!

🚙Write or share below about a time you made a last minute choice or took an unexpected path or detour.

Maybe it was trying a new coffee shop or taking a different route to work.

Maybe you cancelled plans last minute to do something new or to do nothing at all.

Breaking our own rules doesn't always turn into chaos. It can very easily turn into something beautiful!

When your boundaries are lacking and you give so much that there’s nothing left for yourself?

Boundaries don’t come easy to me. They are hard work. But they are necessary in our work life and our personal lives.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that I’ve been wondering in the ether, looking for where I belong, what I want to do.

In the months leading up to the New Year, I’ve realized that I am sick of myself! I’m tired of the person I’ve allowed myself to become. I’m tired of being lost, if waiting. This isn’t me!

So I decided that I would begin writing each and everyday. I hope to reveal what is inside my heart and holed up in my head just itching to get out.

Oh Hey! My name Michele, "Bradley" to most. I am branding coach and workshop facilitator for female entrepreneurs, in the Metro Detroit area. I love music and have a true, genuine belief that there is NOTHING better than driving with your windows down, radio up, enjoying a cool breeze.

I started my journey in the entrepreneurial world as a direct seller. I hung my star to a fast-rising company and rode the wave building a multi-million dollar business with a team spanning from coast to coast. I know how hard it is to stand out in a sea of businesses, that are selling the same things you sell. I also understand that as a female business owner, you can't imagine taking time out of your busy life to learn more skills that may or may not help your business stand out.

It all started with a simple phrase #BradleyBombs. Little messages delivered by yours truly during a podcast conversation, a blog post or a post on social media. And those little #truthbombs encouraged those female business owners around me to want more!
