Here it is!
We created this film for PrayMore with the goal of engaging the church body with the concept of the app and how they can use it.
Concept:
Engaging an audience means understanding where they are when they'll be watching it. Knowing that this film would be played in front of church leadership and church staff, we wanted to give the audience as little transition as possible to get engaged. Also, with distractions like talking with friends and family or grabbing coffee as you rush into church, we needed the audience to have time to shift their attention. We used a pastor-style presentation since that is what the church will already be expecting on a Sunday morning, requiring a very small shift in expectation.

Once we'd developed the concept, it became about making each scene believable. That required a combination of the right lighting, camera movement, actors, and locations. A lot of planning went into making that all possible. Lastly, the animations needed to be big enough for people to see from the back of a church auditorium, so that took a fair amount of motion tracking and masking to sell the effect.
