The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) announced Aug. 10 that it had completed an evacuation of the Rifle Correctional Center in response to the Lee Fire in Rio Blanco County.

Incarcerated individuals evacuated from Rifle Correctional Center to BV Correctional Complex due to Lee Fire. No injuries reported.
