Thanks so much for taking time to check it out it means a lot to all of us here. We are a collective of musicians, performers, and artists who love what we do and who are just doing our part to keep DIY alive. I decided to start Just Plain Awful Records because I wanted to create something that musicians can release music through that provides as free an atmosphere as possible without having to do

everything by themselves and it has grown, faster than I could have imagined, into a great outlet for the DIY community. I release my own music completely DIY so I know it can get expensive and overwhelming sometimes. Just Plain Awful is not a record label, but a DIY community. I am a strong believer in the philosophy that music should not be an industry. I vow to provide all music released through Just Plain Awful for as cheap as possible, or for free with optional donation. I will also sign almost anyone because music is awesome in general. I believe that if you want to make music, who can tell you that you can't? Just Plain Awful is so unconventional that it hurts. Our policy is to f**k industry standards and have some fun doing it. Music is available for free online and via the bands at shows. We would really love to see you at any of our shows buying a CD from us in person. If you want/need a hard copy of an album and cannot obtain it in person, email [email protected] and I will make sure that you get what you are looking for. :)
