Quest Community Vibrations/Quest Youth Radio Over 35 Years Strong

Quest Youth Radio was developed as an educational program for young people, by Quest Youth Service founders, Mr. Always broadcasting from the campus of Seton Hall University 89.5 FM HD in South Orange, twenty-five plus years ago, Mr. Carter handed the responsibility to Mr. Richard Barnes-Bey, who has facilitated the program every

since. Quest Community Vibrations was the first show in Northern NJ to play hip-hop weekly...before it was popular. Over the years the show has become more diverse, including R&B and Jazz into its spin list. While some things change...some things stay the same. The Segements used by students today are the same segments designed by Mr. The segments allow student to present structured information about persons or events which affect their community. Overall students gain skills in broadcasting, writing, public speaking, marketing and more.
