Your browser can do the clicking. Your software can set the price. Who’s keeping an eye on the decisions?

This week’s Sidestreet Signal looks at browser agents, the shift away from text-message security codes, and personalized pricing—with three practical checks worth making in your own business.

Take a look. If it gets you thinking, sign up while you’re there. We send a fresh edition every Tuesday.

Sidestreet Signal — Issue 02 is live.

This month: Google's new AI advisor for Ads and Analytics, ChatGPT Ads expanding across Europe with conversion measurement, and Microsoft's guidance on how AI agents decide which businesses to recommend.

The thread running through all three is simple. Smarter tools still need cleaner signals. When platforms start interpreting your data for you, the quality of that data is the whole game.

So we kept the advice practical — three moves you can make this week:

Check what your accounts actually count as a conversion.
Search for your business like a stranger and note every contradiction.
Make your facts easy to retrieve — hours, services, specs, proof — everywhere they appear.

We also opened up our free eight-point visibility audit again. It scores reviews, search, website, content, social, brand, paid, and earned media, then tells you what to fix this month and what can wait. Back within 48 business hours, no cost.

Read the issue and request your audit:

Fifteen years ago we were a small production shop in New Orleans. Today we're a full-service agency in downtown Spartanburg running four disciplines — marketing, web, production, and church media — and the senior people you meet in the first conversation are the ones who do the work.

No account-manager layer. No handoff to a junior crew after the contract's signed. That's the whole model, and it's the reason not one contract client who's stayed with us a year has had a negative ROI.

We're not a vendor. We're a working partner.

Your website is the first impression most clients ever get of you. If it loads slow, looks like 2015, or buries the phone number — that's the impression.

We build sites that are fast, findable, and built to convert. Same senior team, start to finish.

A launch in a room reaches the room. A live launch reaches everyone.

Live video holds attention about 8× longer than a recording — and roughly 40% of the views come in after it ends, when the replay keeps doing the work. More awareness, better product understanding, higher conversion. All from one broadcast.

We produce these with a broadcast background — so your big moment looks like television, not a we**am on a tripod.

Got something to announce? Let's put it on air.

Happy Fourth, Spartanburg.

This year the celebration lands at Fifth Third Park — the Spartanburgers take on Winston-Salem at 4:35, and Red, White & BOOM lights up the sky right after, with the fireworks finale around 9:15. Bring a blanket, get there early, and find your spot on the field.

However you spend it — ballpark, backyard, or front porch with the neighbors — we hope it's a good one. See you under the fireworks.

Most pastors at a small or new church are doing five jobs at once — preaching, the newsletter, social, guest follow-up, small group prep.

So we built Sermonix. Eight AI tools that live right inside Slack, where your team already works. Paste in a passage, get sermon notes and preachable arcs. Turn Sunday's manuscript into a week of social, a newsletter, a five-day devotional.

Invitation-only beta — first three months free.

The Fourth lands at Fifth Third Park this year. The Spartanburgers take on Winston-Salem at 4:35, and Red, White & BOOM lights up the sky right after — fireworks finale around 9:15. Music on Main keeps rolling on Thursdays, and the farmers market is every Saturday morning.

For the businesses among us: a holiday weekend is the easiest marketing window of the year, and most of it is free. People are downtown, phones out, looking for somewhere to eat before the game and somewhere to land after the fireworks. A holiday hours post, a small "celebrating the Fourth with you" graphic, a window that looks alive — that's the whole play. The ones who plan for the crowd catch it.

We help local businesses show up like they mean it — online and on the street. But honestly? This week, just being open and visible is most of the battle.

Happy Fourth, Spartanburg.

Most agencies stop at client work. We don't.

Alongside the marketing, web, and production we do every day, we build and run our own software — Sermonix for churches, HomeLine for real estate agents. Each one started as a problem we kept running into ourselves, then became a product.

It's the same instinct we bring to a client engagement: find the real problem, build the thing that actually solves it. If your team has one of those problems, that's a conversation we like having.

Today we recognize Juneteenth — the day in 1865 that freedom finally reached the last enslaved Americans, a holiday that asks us to remember both how far we've come and the people who carried us here.

Spartanburg celebrates at Barnet Park on June 21st with the city's Juneteenth Celebration Festival — music, food, and community, all afternoon into the evening.

A meaningful Juneteenth to our neighbors across the Upstate.
