Did you see our cameo in the Super Bowl?? Our trusty ol' Soundcraft Saffire analog mixing console had its last dance as a prop for Dr. Dre in this year's halftime show at SoFi Stadium. So many amazing records and memories associated with this board but a very fitting way to send it off!

Mambo Sound started in 1980 as a small sound equipment rental business that operated from behind Whittaker Music Store located in Long Beach, CA. Originally dubbed ‘Steve’s Sound Systems’ I worked frat parties, local concerts and local dances while getting a Business degree at California State University Long Beach. and working fulltime at Whittaker music. During this time an opportunity arose to buy a fledgling 8-track recording studio. I cut my teeth making records on tape for what would become some of the southlands cooler bands.

I can't imagine the calibre of human
that would steal these microphones from a couple of guys whose sole purpose is to HELP their fellow muscians create and produce music.
I guess it takes all kinds to make up a society based, I'm guessing, on having a conscience and ethics of which the low life thieving class has neither.
