Roses are Red

An old time radio drama by S. Christopher Boggs perfect for Community Theatres and other Drama Groups! Adolf Hi**er has ordered his soldiers to scour the globe in search of rare artifacts, paintings, and the like. One such artifact, the lost shield of Sir Lancelot of the Lake, is discovered in the swamps of South Whales. To keep Hi**er from obtaining the shield, archeologists ship it to America for safe keeping. College student Patricia Kelly and her fiancé, Ross Murdoc, are thrust into a game of cat and mouse as they attend a dinner party on a cold and rainy evening. The other dinner guests begin dropping like flies, victims of a fiendish murderer. Who’s the killer? Could the shield be the cause? Designed as a radio show script, “Roses are Red”, can be produced in front of a live "studio" audience, or it can be recorded for radio/podcast rebroadcast.

Cast Size: 12 roles with 9M/3F.

Running Time: 120 minutes.

Royalty Rate: $50.00 per performance.

Appropriate for all ages.

What’s grandpa up to now?

So, Who Was That Masked Guy Anyway? is the story of Ernie, the grandson of the original Masked Cowboy, a lawman who fought for truth, justice and the cowboy way in the old west. Now that Grandpa is getting on in years he's looking for someone to carry on for him. The only problem? Ernie doesn't know anything about being a cowboy. He's never seen a real cow, he's allergic to milk, and to tell the truth he doesn't know one end of a horse from another! So it's off to cowboy school to learn the basics of cowboyology. He'll learn to rope and ride, chew and spit and to develop the perfect "Yee-Haw!". And it's a good thing, because a band of no good outlaws have captured the good people of Gabby Gulch and the President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt! So it's up to Ernie and his friends to save the day, but beware, before it's all over, the p**p is sure to hit the fans!

Cast Size: 21+ flexible roles with doubling possible.

Running Time: 90 minutes.

Royalty Rate: $50.00 per performance.

Appropriate for all ages.
