We are having a Celebration of the Eastern League slash fundraiser event in Scranton, PA on the evening of Tuesday Oct 22nd! We will be showing a portion of our “Boxed Out”
documentary, followed by a panel of former Eastern League players and auction and raffle of unique sports memorabilia from the era – all in support of completing our documentary! Should be a fun night. Would love to see some familiar faces if anyone has the night free!

Excited to share our new website for the "Boxed Out" documentary. East Coasters, we are planning a fundraising short screening and event in Scranton PA mid October, date TBD. You are all invited! Details to come:).

From 1946 to 1978 the Eastern Professional Basketball League had many of the best players in the world that were not in the NBA. In addition to an up-tempo, high-scoring style of play, the league welcomed many Black players left out by the NBA's unofficial racial quotas. Largely forgotten by history...

For those interested in true crime sagas, small town murders and big time cover ups, the long awaited 8 part series in the Fargo Forum about the incredibly flawed 1995 murder trial of Werner Rummer Kunkel finally came out. The series, written by veteran journalist Patrick Springer, is currently behind a paywall, but I've downloaded the story onto a google drive I can share in the comments section for those interested in digging into a story that is too wild to make up, as if straight out of a season of Fargo.

A little work-in-progress piece of writing exploring my new documentary series project up on the Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota. There will be a professional series of articles and a video series coming out from the Fargo Forum newspaper that I helped contribute to in the coming weeks.
