The Mercury News Wish Book is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated by The Mercury News. Beginning on Thanksgiving Day and continuing through December each year, The Mercury News publishes a series of Wish Book stories illustrating specific community needs and offering readers a chance to make donations. Since 1983, the Mercury News Wish Book has raised more than $9 million to help people an

d organizations in our community. Readers’ donations allow The Mercury News to answer “wishes” for things like therapeutic equipment for children with autism, computers to help homeless people look for jobs and housing, holiday gifts for children in foster care, and so much more. The Mercury News covers all administrative costs of the Wish Book program, so 100 percent of donations go to help those in need.

Donations will help AbilityPath provide art supplies to participants in addition pay for transportation costs so they can attend galleries, museums, community art classes and support stipends for, such things as workshops and digital art .Goal: $15,000.
