OUR MUSIC HISTORY:

In 1998 Herb Partlow recorded "Jazz Theory" featuring J. L. P. on the saxophone. Herb is playing all of the instruments on this song, including drum programming, bass guitar, piano, keyboards, and string arrangements. The song was recorded at Peek a Boo Studio in Oakland, California, owned and operated by Freddie White a-k-a Freddie Fonk!

In addition, he also recorded another contemporary jazz hit that same year titled "Midnight Interlude" also featuring J. L. P. at the same studio facility in Oakland. Since that time, Herb has re-released the songs under the following titles, "Funky Jazz" and "Another Interlude" in 2018 and they were featured on his "Future Jazz" EP.

Fast Forward to 2024, and those two songs continue to get radio airplay across the globe on a daily basis. Attached you will see the current top songs on JazzBites Contemporary Radio out of London, England. These songs remain timeless hits!
