Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath Frontman and Heavy Metal Legend, Dies at 76

[216 The Beat had the honor of seeing Ozzy live at the Rock Hall Induction Ceremony in 2024, Cleveland, OH.]

Ozzy Osbourne, a founding father of British heavy metal, a latter-day solo star and a new-millennium reality TV luminary, died Tuesday after a yearslong struggle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 76.

Osbourne’s death was confirmed by the BBC.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Beloved Star of “The Cosby Show,” passes away at 54

We decided to share one of our most memorable moments from “The Cosby Show” featuring Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

Warner reportedly drowned while on a family vacation in Costa Rica, according to a family source cited by People magazine. His death was confirmed on Monday, July 21.

Warner’s sudden passing has stunned fans and colleagues alike. He is survived by his wife and daughter, whose identities have been kept private throughout his career. Authorities in Costa Rica have not released additional details, but Warner’s death is being described as a tragic accident.
