Ledyard Farms' Annual Open Barn - September 9
Ledyard Farms in King Ferry, New York, will host its 10th Annual Open Barn on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A tradition for both New York Morgan Horse Show participants and the King Ferry community, the annual open barn showcases Ledyard Farm’s beautiful property and horses. William Haines, owner and breeder, and Jennifer Hazen, equine manager, look forward to hosting friends and colleagues at the open barn party which includes dinner, drinks, and a presentation of the farm's elite Morgan horses. This year, Ledyard will be highlighting four Hall of Fame Broodmares and eight weanlings, in addition to other junior horses and broodmares from the Ledyard breeding program. View an 1868 Wells Fargo Stagecoach, as well as a 5th Avenue Omnibus from New York CIty circa 1835 as well as other antique carriages. Visit an antique tool museum to view equipment used on the farm for over 100 years. Also, walk around Ledyard’s one room school house #11, attended by multiple generations of the Haines family.
Participants at the NY Regional Morgan Horse Show can ride Ledyard's charter bus roundtrip between the New York State Fairgrounds and Ledyard Farms in King Ferry. The bus will leave the fairgrounds at 4:30 p.m. and depart Ledyard Farms to return to Syracuse at 8:15 p.m. Please call, text or email for reserved seating - space is limited.
