To everyone who’s being affected by this, scared, angry, in disbelief…please understand that u are safe with me and mine. I was raised by a STRONG woman, by strong women in general, i have lived my life openly, and have always encouraged the people i love to do so. Q***r friends and family my entire existence to support my own journey. People of so many faiths, and cultures have shown me love and life…I can’t imagine the betrayal that our nation has made u feel, and though I know it doesn’t really help, as a REAL grown ass man, I apologize so very deeply.
I am not the only man who feels this way. Seek out true allies, trustworthy human beings who understand the difficulties to come. Surrounded ur selves with love and kindness, build ur personal community with structures of trust and compassion.

This is a HARD line. I may be judging, but believe that I’ll do that privately, as u will as well.

This isn’t hate, I will not ever give to that toxic state of being…read this as my declaration as an ally that has chosen protection and empathy for those that need it now more than ever.

If u don’t take part in the process of the governing of ur life, then u lose the righteousness to complain about the outcome.
As parents of children that are growing up in this society, it behooves us to be involved in our local and national governmental actions. Even if u believe the game is rigged, ur playing whether u want to or not.
Just sitting by and saying it doesn’t matter what I do, nothing will change, is EXACTLY how things DON’T change.
