LOWE'S STORES 'SHINE A BLUE LIGHT' TO SUPPORT SLAIN AND INJURED OFFICERS IN CHARLOTTE, NC

Residents in the greater Charlotte region can pick up a free blue outdoor LED light bulb at Lowe's area stores beginning Saturday, May 4, until supplies last. Light bulbs can be picked up in the checkout area. No purchase is necessary.

As the Charlotte, NC community reels from the tragic shooting of 8 law enforcement officers on Monday, April 29, including four who lost their lives, Charlotte leaders have made one request of the community and the nation – come together to support our local law enforcement.

Lowe's is taking that call to action to heart and hopes residents of Charlotte will too, showing solidarity in a small but significant gesture, shining a blue light on their front porch. Stores in the greater Charlotte area will be handing out 25,000 blue LED light bulbs for customers to pick up at no charge to shine a light on their front porches in support of the officers who lost their lives or were injured and their fellow law enforcement officers who have lost friends and colleagues in the line of duty.

Lowe’s store #2636 in Denver, Nc is honored to be a part of this special event and invite you to please stop by and pick up your lightbulbs to show your support.

For our outdoor ceremony, he ensured that we had the proper equipment to accommodate our special requests and provide the best experience for our guests. He made a point to be present at our rehearsal and early on the wedding day to answer any questions we had and allow our ceremony singer time to practice with the sound system. At our reception, he did a great job as the emcee to keep everyone on schedule and chose fun songs to make sure our guests didn’t leave the dance floor! He checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and really took care of us and our guests.
