We had the amazing opportunity to visit our Alma mater last week while we were in Texas. The buildings still made me emotional as I walked through the hallways. The spirit of the Lord is heavy in those halls and classrooms.
To the glory of God, John and I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University 20 years ago, with honors too!!! (SAGU). They recently changed the name to Nelson University in honor of one of the founding fathers of the Assemblies of God. I will not admit to my childishness of the new acronym but if have a sense of humor, have fun with it like I have… Lol 😂 (don’t worry, God has a sense of humor also).
In all seriousness, I’m grateful to this university for the education, the relationships, the spiritual growth and the wonderful memories that were made during our years on campus.
