Orcas visited the Inner Harbour earlier this month, and we’re still not over it — such a magical sight. If you’re heading out on the water, make sure you know how to boat safely around whales. The Whale Safe Boating Course from the Marine Education & Research Society is a great place to start: www.WhaleSafeBoating.org

The Point Defiance Marina Boathouse will be holding a Fall Swap Meet Saturday, September 27 9am-3pm. It’s a great opportunity to buy, sell, and trade all types of fishing, boating, and marine related equipment & gear - and maybe even some fun craft items too!

Admission to the event is free for the public!

Have things to sell? 10’x10’ spaces available.
Booth fee: $25
