Hello San Diego actors! We have a boutique video studio in Little Italy and we are getting ready to take some photos and videos to help market the studio. In exchange for 1 hour of your time we will trade you a 1-hour self-tape session in our studio. Read on for specific details.
Casting Call — Studio Trade | CinemaViva Studio, Little Italy, San Diego
We're looking for male and female actors with a strong executive or corporate professional look for an on-camera shoot at our Little Italy studio. We are casting a mix of 5 total.
This is for internal marketing content — photo and video for our website and social media channels. No agency required.
Available shoot dates: Thursday April 2, Friday April 3, and Saturday April 4. Additional sessions may be scheduled the following week depending on availability and interest.
What we're looking for:
Male and female, ages 35-60. Polished, confident, on-camera presence. Think executive, physician, corporate professional — business formal to business casual. Bring a blazer, collared shirt, or professional dress. Avoid bold patterns or all-white. No scripted lines or preparation required — we'll give you simple direction on the day.
What we'll shoot:
A solo executive interview setup, a two-person podcast-style conversation, a virtual seminar presenter setup with green screen and branded background, and professional headshots. Everything shot in a controlled studio environment with professional lighting and audio.
The trade:
You give us 1 hour on set. We give you 1 hour of studio self-tape time — a $100 value — same professional setup, yours to use for auditions. Valid through December 31, 2026.
Bonus:
If any footage of you is selected for use in our marketing, we'll provide you with a copy of that footage for your reel.
Selected participants will be asked to sign a simple usage release prior to shooting.
