Magic Springs Theme and Water Park has officially confirmed that live piranhas will be permitted inside the water park this Saturday, so long as they arrive in personal coolers with secure lids and “a clear sense of purpose.”

Park officials say the move is part of an experimental enrichment program designed to “reinvigorate the natural fear that once made wave pools fun.”

When asked if this presented a safety concern, one lifeguard shrugged and said, “We’ve seen what y’all do during spring break. The fish are safer than we are.”

As always, Magic Springs reminds everyone: “You are not immune to natural selection.”
