After 13 years of telling Lane County's stories at Eugene Daily News, we're launching something different this week: AOmniMedia
The short version: We're working with local business owners to help them leverage automation and AI—practical tools that reduce busywork and free up time to focus on growing the business.
The longer version: Over those 13 years, we interviewed hundreds of local business owners. We saw what worked, what didn't, and what kept owners up at night. Now the tools available have changed dramatically—but most business owners don't have time to figure out what's real and what's hype.
That's what we're doing now: helping business owners here in Lane County separate the useful stuff from the noise, and implement systems that actually work for their specific situation.
What it looks like:
• Weekly newsletter with one concrete tool or approach
• Free 30-minute assessments (no pressure, just conversation)
• Implementation help for businesses that want it done for them
Who it's for: Construction companies buried in scheduling. Medical practices losing patients to phone tag. Ag operations drowning in paperwork. Any business owner who feels like they're running everything themselves and wants to leverage modern tools without becoming a tech expert.
Who it's NOT for: Tech companies (you've got this figured out). Lawyers (there are plenty of folks serving you already). Anyone looking for get-rich-quick shortcuts.
We're starting with a free weekly newsletter called "Lane County AI Insider." First issue drops this Friday.
If you run a business in Lane County and feel like you're drowning in busy work, this might be useful.
