Dozens of students from five Maui County elementary, intermediate and high schools showed off their high tech creations at a fundraiser for STEM programs in Wailea Saturday. Nearly 400 supporters raised roughly $175,000 dollars for Maui Economic Development Board's Ke Alahele Education Fund. Many students say the programs have inspired them to become engineers, work in tech, aviation or the medical field.
