As many of you have noticed I took a very long break from writing. After my site crashing several times due to my hosting provider, some personal issues for my grandkids and several deaths in the family I had someone who was supposed to take over but they never got around to it so it appears that I've been drug back into the ring... The one thing that has been a constant is Willie Russell's constant harassment. Today he called me with a private number again, which I don't answer ever and now he's flipping out over a 2018 posting where he was claiming to work for this paper. He said I need to take that post down, offer a retraction and that he never claimed to have worked for us, and that he's sick of that post being used against him to show what a liar he is (his words not mine!) I will not offer a retraction, nor will I remove the post. He clearly stated he worked for this newspaper. He does not, never did, and never will. At no point have I ever made money from this paper, and I barely make enough to keep it running so in the future I may have guest writers and I may have to monetize this paper after all but I still wouldn't be able to hire anyone to work for me. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

As some if you may have noticed our entire site went down because it was hacked and our entire database was erased. I've got 918 stories back up and I'm up to 2018. Usually it appears to be happening via the state patrol in Spokane, this time it was out if Bellingham. I am trying as hard as I can to get the rest if it back up and your patience us very much appreciated at this time. I an also going to create another mirror site NIT attached to the same account so it doesn't all get wiped out at the same time. Brandia

I'm sure that most of our readers have noticed that first our entire site fell apart, then it went down, then in order to get it up I had to change the format. We lost all of our categories, tags, and documents, so I've been trying to rebuild the site as I get time.

I have had some family and personal issues as well so I've been AWOL for a while. I am slowly but surely getting back to work but at this point I had to borrow money to get the site back up. I am requesting donations at this time, everything can help. I am currently in Yuma but I should be back home by late July. If you need to reach me, please email me at [email protected].
