A & A Disc Jockey Service is based in Greensboro, NC, but serves clients throughout North Carolina and Southern Virginia. Although we specialize in working with brides to make their wedding celebratioins unique aqnd memorable, we also entertain at bar/ bat mitzvahs, sweet 16's, corporate and school events. No matter what the celebration, we help you make it reflect your own personality so it is as unique as you are.

When we do an event, we always make an effort to take a few photos or video that we might want to post later. But this is the first time a bride sent me pics (the day after the wedding) because she wanted me to see what a great job Marcus did and how much fun everyone had. In her words,
"Hi Larry! Just wanted to leave a review about Marcus! He did an amazing job!! We had the dance floor of our dreams, he did a great job with the ceremony music, MCing , everything was perfect!! 100/10 job! Thank you so much for all the prep work you did as well!"

From the very beginning, Larry and Craig were fast, genuine, and detailed in their communication, which put us at ease. Their service was incredibly valuable - they were adjustable, affordable, and flexible, ensuring everything ran smoothly. They checked in with us and our planner throughout the event to get approvals and keep the timeline on track. It was great working with them, and we were thrilled with the quality of their work at the actual wedding. Highly recommend A & A for your special day!

We definitely want to thank Haley & Will for the kind words. People aren't as great about posting reviews a they were a few years ago, but those that do are providing so much reassurance and peace of mind for couples in the midst of their planning. These two were so much fun to chat and work with as the planning progressed. They had a pretty clear idea of what their ideal celebration should look like and by communicating that to us clearly they gave us a great chance or providing that to them. Haley's aunt was very helpful as was Brittany, their photographer with Handiwork Photography. And ironically their food, which was terrific, came from one of our favorite places (since it is right around the corner) The Pavilion Restaurant. Craig said that their guests were treated him really well and he thoroughly enjoyed entertaining them. We sincerely wish them the very best in their future lives together and hope they stay in touch. :)

Hannah & Patrick are such a great couple and were so easy to work with during the planning of their event. Of course, their event was at The Garden at Gray Gables and Danielle and the staff there are always a joy to work with. Michael said that all of the guests were so kind to him and he found entertaining them to be a real joy. All of us here at A & A wish them both every happiness in their future lives together and hope to be entertaining them again at a future anniversary party. :)

We couldn't be more thrilled with the incredible job Larry and Marcus did at our wedding! The Austin Finch House highly recommended them and from the very first moment we contacted Larry, his professionalism and attention to detail stood out. He took the time to understand our style, musical preferences, and the vibe we wanted for our big day, making us feel confident we were in the best hands. On the day of the wedding, Marcus was absolutely fantastic. He seamlessly blended all of our favorite songs with crowd-pleasers, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The dance floor was packed all night long—guests of all ages were dancing and having the time of their lives. His transitions between songs were smooth, and he perfectly timed every special moment (like the cake cutting and our first dance), making it all flow effortlessly. What truly impressed us was how adaptable Marcus was. He read the room so well and adjusted the music to match the energy, ensuring everyone was engaged and having fun. My family is Ecuadorian and loves to party! His expertise and taste in Latin music truly stood out. He also kept the event running on schedule without being intrusive, balancing the right amount of interaction while letting the music speak for itself. We received countless compliments from our guests about how amazing the music was. If you're looking for a DJ who will not only play great music but also create a memorable experience, we highly recommend A & A Disc Jockey Service. We can't thank Sandy & Jireh enough for the kind words. They were a pure joy to work with in planning their event and Marcus and I were so happy that we were able to bring their vision to life. But as always it takes a team to accomplish that. We owe thanks to Andrew and his staff at The Finch House and we can't wait to have Megan Travis Photography share some of the images with us as well as Phillip Cinematographer. Teamwork always gives couples the best results on such an important day. These two are definitely one of our special couples that we hope to see again and again over the years and wish them every possible happiness in their future lives together. :)

WOW! A&A Disc Jockey Services blew us out of the water!!! If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would! From planning to the actual event, the team was there for us every step of the way! Larry and April took time to really understand our vision in planning meetings before our wedding. Marcus was our DJ and I couldn't write enough things about him! He made our reception feel personal by talking about our love story and making sure the party kept going all night!!

We can't thank Stephanie and Jacob, the new Mr. & Mrs. for their kind comments. They were both such a joy to work with during the planning for their event. When I stopped by to check on them I finally had to approach Stephanie on the dance floor to say hi, because it was obvious she wasn't sitting down much, and Marcus said he thinks he had nearly as much fun as they did.
Of course, successful events don't happen in a vacuum. Summer Wells of Events by Summer Joy was terrific to work with as always; Cadillac Service Garage is a terrific venue and the staff there always make our job easier; I was told that the food from 1618 on location as well as the cake from Easy Peasy Decadent Desserts were both delicious and I am anxious to see the amazing photos and video from Point200 Films & Photos. We are always proud to work with and be associated to other great professionals.
April and I wish Stephanie and Jacob every happiness in their future lives together and look forward to a great party on their 20th anniversary. :)

Wow! What a business. I am so pleased even 7 months after my wedding. When I think back on the night of our wedding, the music was amazing and kept the party going. From the endless questions and many personalization touches, Larry and DJ Marcus exceeded our expectations. This is truly a business who stands by their word. Mr Martin was in constant contact with me and took the time to really get to know our preferences as bride and groom. DJ Marcus came highly recommended from a family friend and he also exceeded every expectation. DJ Marcus made it a point to introduce his self to me, the bride, while my bridesmaids and I were taking pictures. Although I had many people helping pull the day together, he assured me if I needed anything that he and Mr. Martin would help in any way they could. Please consider using this small business as they are well run and I did not have to worry at all because the communication and delivery were top tier. I would recommend this DJ business over and over again. Thank you Mr. Martin and DJ Marcus for giving us our dream wedding! Sincerely- Alex and Mikayla Conner

We can't thank Mikayla & Alex enough for the kind words. It is so gratifying that so many months after their event when all the excitement has finally settled down, they still recognize and appreciate the efforts we made for their day. We are constantly reminding ourselves that although we may do many weddings, for each of our couples, this is their "once in a lifetime" event, so we make their dreams our highest priority. But a successful event is always a team effort. The Hideaway at Crooked Creek is a terrific venue with a great staff. Michelle with A Touch of Charm was so helpful and Michaela Cox Photography was s pure pleasure to work with. We treasure the relationships we build with our couples and will always wish Mikayla & Alex nothing but love and happiness in the years ahead.

Marcus was the absolute best! The flow from beginning to end was better than we ever imagined. Marcus was very kind to us and our guests and knew how to keep the party going. We are very thankful for the A&A team and how they truly made this such a memorable day for us.

Alli and Peter were such a great couple to work with and the staff at the Barn at Reyolda Village are always a delight to team with as was their director (Events by Vivian). The couple did a terrific job of filling out our planning materials so that we had a really goo picture of what their vision of a terrific wedding day looked like and hopefully we were able to create that for them. Marcus, April and I really loved what they did for their guests and wish them every happiness in their future lives together. :)

We loved Craig for our reception. He did an amazing job setting up between two rooms. We were able to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner, and have a good time on the dance floor. He also did a great job as the Master of Ceremony, keeping the night moving smoothly. Music was great, interactions with my family were wondering. Larry who I worked with prior to the night is super nice, very invested into making sure the night goes as planned.

We want to thank Mia and Dan for the very kind words. Working with them to help turn their vision of a perfect wedding day into a reality was a real joy. We wish them every happiness in their future lives together. :)
