It’s been a little while, but karaoke is back where it belongs.

This Thursday, Scuba Steve takes over as your karaoke host while DJ Dijit keeps everything sounding right. Whether you’re chasing that perfect performance or just singing with friends after a couple of cold ones, this is your night.

At Politics, nobody cares if you sound like Chris Stapleton or can’t carry a tune. We care that you have a good time.

Cold drinks. Familiar faces. A room full of people cheering each other on.

That’s what Thursday night should feel like.

Tonight is my LAST NIGHT as the resident DJ at Rock Bottom Park and Pub!

It’s been an incredible ride, and I can’t thank everyone enough for all the memories we’ve made together over the years. From the regulars who’ve been there since the beginning at 301 and Fulton Beach Bar and Grill to everyone who’s ever hit the dance floor, sang along, or closed the place down with us… thank you.

Don’t worry—we’ve got a solid lineup of DJs taking over starting next week, and they’re going to keep the party going strong.

But tonight… if you’ve ever spent a Friday night partying with me, let’s make this one count. The staff will be ready with the drinks, and I’ll be bringing the soundtrack one last time.

Let’s give these Friday nights the sendoff they deserve.

A wedding exit sets the tone for the very last part of the night, and the DJ has a lot to do with that. Reading the room, choosing the right track, coordinating the send-off, keeping things flowing naturally — all the details matter more than people realize.
