Through his lens, Mac has helped document government, community life, public affairs, and powerful human stories across the region. His work reflects the patience, skill, and dedication that define great visual storytelling.

The Capital Emmys leadership team was so excited to be a part of the annual NATAS Nationals conference in Denver alongside our fellow regional chapters! The past four days were jam-packed with meetings discussing the Chapter Council, Awards, Presidents/Executive Directors, & Emmy Express training.

Chair of the Chapter Council Amanda Scibilia says “it was great to come together with the NATAS Chapters in Denver—to reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and celebrate the great work happening across our industry. These meetings are a great reminder of the value of collaboration and the strong connections that make our industry special.”

Our Board of Governors recently gathered at NBC4 Washington in D.C. for a budget planning meeting focused on the year ahead and the future of our NATAS chapter.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our volunteer board members to come together, discuss the resources that support our work, and continue planning how we can best serve our members and the region’s media community.

Board members also had the chance to tour NBC4, a historic D.C. station with more than 75 years of service to the region.

Thank you to WRC NBC4 for hosting, and thank you to our board members for the time, leadership, and passion they bring to media, journalism, and communications.
