Last but certainly not least for the 2025 All-Star Classic, #1 Sage Mortimer (Grand Valley State) faced off against #2 Salyna Shotwell (Life) at 117 🤼‍♀️

The match was tight, until Mortimer’s late heroics 🤯 the returning national champion was down 2-2 on criteria with 40 secs to go, but this SICK headlock propelled her to the victory 🏆🔥

Another #1 vs #1 battle 🤯, another gritty win 🏆

#1 Bella Mir (North Central) bumped up from 145 ➡️ 160 for this fire match-up vs. #1 Latifah McBryde (Life). 🤼‍♀️

Mir would win 2-2, displaying her tenacious hand-fighting & stingy defense🔥

In ANOTHER battle of NCAA Champ vs. NAIA Champ 🤯,  #2 Reese Larramendy (Iowa) faced off against #1 Esther Kolawole (William Penn) at the 2025 All-Star Classic 🤼‍♀️

In a super gritty battle, it was Larramendy who earned the 4-3 victory 🏆

She hit this CLUTCH slide-by to take over the match 👀🔥

At the 2025 All-Star Classic, the women had 4 awesome cross-division match-ups, NCAA vs NAIA 🤼‍♀️

The first match pitted NCAA National Champ vs NAIA National Champ 🤯 with #1 Katie Lange (Grand Valley State) taking on #1 Zaynah McBryde (Life) at 138. 🤼‍♀️

Lange showed some amazing offense AND counter-offense, & would win by a score of 11-3. 🔥

At the 2025 NWCA All-Star Classic, #1 (D2) Khyvon Grace (West Liberty) faced off against #1 (D3) Mark Samuel (Roanoke), a returning DIII NCAA Champion. 🤼

Khyvon Grace recorded an epic last second takedown to earn the win!

Another Portillo Bros camp coming up! 🔥

On August 8th, the Portillo Bros set out to complete their 5th annual camp in the beautiful land of Mountain Home, Arkansas! 🏔️🏞️

Always the best of times down there, so we can’t wait to be back for another memorable camp. 🤩

Mountain Home is one of the premier youth programs in the state. The Flyers are 3x team State Champions (won the last 3 years in a row) looking to add on many more titles in the future! 🤼‍♂️

CWA IV had a lot of electric action & was a treat to watch! 🤼‍♂️⚡️

These 8 multi-divisional stars were named Top Prospects in the up-and-coming CLAW Wrestling Draft! 🤼‍♂️

CLAW () is one of the nation’s newest professional wrestling leagues 👀 The inaugural draft goes down July 21st, in Atlantic City. 6 general managers have been selected (including fan-favorite ), and with these stars on the table, the draft is looking to be electric ⚡️

Wrestlers (in weight order):

Tyler Warner (West Liberty; Wheeling Jesuit) - 2x DII NCAA Champ, 5x AA

Zack Donathan (Tiffin U; Ellsworth CC) - 2x DII NCAA Champ, JUCO Finalist

Campbellsville had a whopping THREE Olympians compete in Paris this past week!

The highlight of the alumni was Norway’s Grace Bullen earning the Bronze Medal at 62 kg. She went 3-1 with all techs, losing only to champion Motoki in the semis.

At the same weight, USA’s Kayla Miracle looked good her first match, but lost to 3x world champ, #1 seed Tynybekova, the next match. When Tynybekova got upset in the semis, Miracle’s tournament concluded.

Ashton Mutuwa represented Nigeria at 125 kg. His run ended when he lost to 2x Olympian Ligeti first round.

The Olympic dream can be accomplished from anywhere! As a matter of fact, Campbellsville tied Penn State alumni for Olympic medals this year!… Do what you wish with that info! 😅
