World DREDGING's latest issue cover ( 56.1/2 -2/24 ) : Lind Marine employs the “Greta-Jean Lind” in Redwood City, California, making this the first E-dredge to be used for a USACE maintenance dredging contract on the West Coast. In less than 22 days the dredge removed
over 85,000 yd3 of mud and placed the sediment at the new Eden’s Landing Shallow Water Disposal Site for beneficial reuse. Swinging a level-close Cable Arm bucket, the 1200-series E-Dredge was able to exceed estimated production while utilizing 70% less horsepower than similar-sized machines.
