ā€œSecond Chancesā€ was the title piece for my first ever gallery solo show, which took place this past year in LA. I called the show ā€œSecond Chancesā€ because I feel like Iā€™ve been given a second chance at life - much the same as these abandoned pieces of thrift store art, Iā€™ve been given the opportunity to exist with a completely new purpose after so many years on a different career path. Itā€™s a new happiness I never even knew I wanted... Hereā€™s to an exciting 2020 šŸŽ‰ šŸŽØ

The Sanctity of Sweet...
When I was a kid, my parents rarely had money for brand name cereals. They were a rare treat and when I was lucky enough to have a bowl, I'd carefully strategize each bite so that there'd be just enough of the tastiest bits for that last spoonful of milk. These days, my wife and I still make our favorite cereals a special treat - half to remind ourselves to remain kids at heart and half to celebrate our freedom to indulge in something, well, sweet. This is the first painting in a series of ten (one released each month) that will pay homage to the most important meal of the day. At the end of the year, I'll be releasing something super special to end the series... Check out my website for details and release dates.

This Thursday, Nov. 14 at 12pm EST:
ā–Ŗļø5 hand embellished prints + 2 APs printed on canvas, each unique with loads of hand painted embellishments and signed/numbered in oil paint. Each print is 24x36ā€ - US orders will be stretched over stretcher bars and ready to hang (international orders will ship rolled with an extra 2ā€ margin to allow for stretching). Each print includes a UV/abrasion protective coating and comes with a certificate of authenticity. ā–ŖļøLimited edition timed release (edition size to be the number sold during the timed release). Each printed on high quality velvet cotton rag paper 20x30ā€ (plus 2ā€ margin). Each signed and numbered.

Iā€™ve been secretly working for two months now on three paintings for (Art Week Miami) with and Iā€™m finally able to share one of them! This one is called ā€œPrimer IIā€. Iā€™ve always been fascinated with the relationship between art, fashion, and advertising, and the three pieces Iā€™m bringing to Miami are an exploration into this relationship. will release ten prints (and two APs) of this painting on Nov 26. Each one is a hand painted color variation (swipe for example), signed and numbered with oils in the color of the embellishment. Iā€™m really proud of this project and Iā€™m excited to share more soon! Also, Iā€™m giving away one VIP pass to Scope to my favorite comment below - favorite color, interpretation, funny anecdote, etc. Have fun and see you in Miami!!
