Our summer schedule begins this Saturday, May 23! During the summer, worship services will be held at Unity Lutheran on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. from May 23-Sept. 5. Plus, we will be having a potluck after the service on the first Saturday of each month. Please join us on this new adventure!

The ELCA will observe the 2026 National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH) with a free online program on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 6-8 p.m. This will be a night of intentional storytelling, deep listening and reflection, featuring diverse voices that will draw us closer together. This upcoming Sunday (Jan. 18) is an important day! We will have our annual meeting at the conclusion of our 10 a.m. service, so please attend if you are able. Plus, in lieu of a sermon, there will be a special presentation from Community Action. In recent years, our congregation has supported their food pantry and bought Christmas gifts for families served by their organization. We will also be taking up a free will offering in support of their work. Hope to see you there!

Even those who are not struggling with losses may feel the stress of preparations and expectations around Christmas time. Join us for a special service on the longest night of the year as we gather together for support and healing.

Another carload of shelf-stable meals and pantry items will be heading to Community Action in the morning. Alan Fabel delivered the first batch last Monday, and reported that two of the meal kits were immediately given to individuals who had just arrived in need of assistance.

If you didn’t get in on the first round, 10 more ziplock bags with recipes/shopping lists are on the table in the narthex! You can fill it up yourself or leave a ten dollar donation and the items will be purchased for you. Thank you for making a difference!
