Welcoming to Kyra Collective!

Originally from Egypt and Kuwait and now based in NorCal for the past 11 years, Aaya began producing electronic music while studying cognitive neuroscience at UC-Berkeley. She immediately fell in love with it, and has spent the last several years developing her musical style while exploring various sound design and production methods, as well as DJing. 
 
Aaya’s passion for sound design has allowed her to create a unique sonic space, as she carves all her sounds from scratch. She incorporates cutting edge bass design methods and otherworldly spaces, expressing that which is intangible. In doing so, she weaves together a tapestry of intricate edits, catchy leads, and hard-hitting basslines.
 
Aaya has released on labels such as Gravitas Recordings, Muti Music, and Aspire Higher. She was featured on Beatport’s “Best New Hype D&B” playlists. Her debut EP just came out on her new label, Prizmatik Records, and has landed her features on Electric Hawk and The Daily Frequency. While Aaya’s career is just getting started, she has already rocked major events such as Burning Man (Camp Questionmark), Sonic Bloom, Symbiosis Texas Eclipse, Raindance Campout, Enigma Gathering, How Weird Street Faire (SF), Priceless Campout, a Momentive DNB event (LA), Love out Loud Festival (Bay Area), and a Good Society event (LA), with many more to come.

Dewey is a q***r artist and promoter based in Kansas City, MO. With a deep passion for soundsystem and club sounds, their sets span a range of genres, creating a unique world of self-expression and unapologetic joy.

As a co-host of Wavelength, a KC-based party, Dewey is dedicated to promoting liberation for all through the authentic creative expression of inspired artists, DJs, producers, and healers in Kansas City and beyond.

One of Dewey’s core intentions as an artist and curator is to help others connect with themselves and with one another through the transformative power of music across all genres. By recognizing music’s universal ability to inspire and heal, Dewey aims to create spaces where people can embrace their true selves, find solace, and build deeper connections within both themselves and their communities, free from the limits placed on us in everyday life.

Through their own journey of exploration and growth, Dewey hopes to inspire others to realize their boundless potential and to know that their dreams can be brought into reality with passion and dedication.
